Explore the Principles of the Ktunaxa Creation Story + AGM April 26th

We invite you to join us for a special meeting where we will weave together an interactive exploration of the principles of the Ktunaxa Creation Story with our regular AGM business. This meeting will be held on Tuesday April 26th from 1-3:30pm PDT.  Please note that this is longer than previously scheduled.

We are excited to have Michele A Sam join us once again to facilitate this session. Inspired by our experience of the Ktunaxa Creation Story with Nasuʔkin (Chief) Joe Pierre and the reflection and visioning sessions facilitated by Michele, we are going to dive deeper into the Ktunaxa Creation Story, how it can be applied and explore how some of the key principles can inform the work of the food policy council and everyone who lives and works on this land.

This meeting is open to Council members and anyone wishing to attend. If you are interested in joining us for the first time, please email comms@ckfoodpolicy.ca.

This session will build upon the Ktunaxa Creation Story with Nasuʔkin (Chief) Joe Pierre , so we strongly encourage anyone who wishes to attend the session to watch the recording beforehand. Alternatively, you can read this transcript of Nasuʔkin (Chief) Joe Pierre telling the Ktunaxa Creation Story to school children and educators in SD 79. Please note that the video and transcript are slightly different due to the practice of context-specific storytelling.
