On Thursday February 10th, 2022, we hosted a special Council vision session facilitated by Michele A Sam. This session built upon the November 25th Reflection session and was a dynamic and thought-provoking exploration of the future vision and mission of the Council.
This session was a wonderful opportunity to pause and reflect on where we are at now and where we want to go, which seems especially timely given all of the pressures on our food systems and on us as communities. It was also helpful to reflect on justice and reconciliation and how we can transform the Council to more fully integrate all the dimensions of justice into our work.

We are excited about what lies ahead for the Food Policy Council and how we can continue to evolve and transform the organization to better reflect our commitment to just food and to improving the resilience of our region’s food systems.
