Hot off the presses! The print edition of 2021 Farm & Food Directory is available for pickup.This free guide to eating locally is brought to you by the Central Kootenay Food Policy Council.
The guide has everything you need to shop and eat locally, with information about farms, food producers, markets, seasonal eating and more! If you are a farmer or food entrepreneur, the guide will help you to assess business opportunities, access ingredients, and reach new audiences. And if you are in local government, the guide helps you to understand who is creating food in your area and what they may need to help them thrive.
Available for free at tourist information centres, markets and local food stores in the Central Kootenay Region or online at centralkootenayfood.ca. Please feel free to take extra copies to share with your family, friends and to place in locations where others can find them.
