Patrick spent twenty years farming and running an organic seed company, Stellar Seeds. Currently, Patrick works as the Food Security Coordinator for North Kootenay Lake Community Services Society. He is responsible for operating their Harvest Share Food Recovery Program, manages the Kaslo Saturday Market and organizes a variety of other food-related programming such as garden mentorship, a culinary tool library, film festivals and educational workshops and more. He serves as the President of the board of Central Kootenay Food Policy Council and is a General Advisor for Kootenay and Boundary Farm Advisors.
